The return of the IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas is just over a week away. Don’t wait to register for this world-class program in Washington, D.C.

Returning as a face-to-face event, the 2022 IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas, June 1-3 in Washington, D.C., will feature world-leading experts to present the latest scientific, technical, regulatory, business, and market insights.

The show takes a magnifying glass to all-things microbiome-related, what areas are growing, and in which direction.

Diversity…

As many people in the microbiome space appreciate, diversity is important, and this year’s program promises to be one of the most diverse ever produced, with the range of topics covered over the three days including communicating via influencers, a look at the investment landscape and industry consolidation, insights from retailers on new quality initiatives, novel market data from Lumina Intelligence, plus deep dives into a range of hot scientific topics, including sleep and stress management.

Day 1 (June 1) opens with presentations about the potential impact of probiotics on COVID-19 outcomes, including data from Paul Wischmeyer, MD, from Duke University School of Medicine on the impressive results from his clinical trial showing LGGs protective potential in COVID-19 households.

Paul is followed by more impressive data from Mexico on how a combination of probiotics may positively impact COVID-19 out-patients, presented by Pedro Gutiérrez Castrellón, MD from the Hospital General Dr Manuel Gea Gonzalez and the International Scientific Council for Probiotas in Mexico City.

This will be followed by insights from a deep dive into the post-pandemic impact on the gut microbiota and a focus on human-residential bifidobacteria, presented by Morinaga Milk Industry’s Chyn Boon Wong, PhD.

We’ll bring stakeholders from industry and academia and the legal sphere together for a what’s sure to be lively discussion on all things immunity, including the market, the data, and the claims.

Day 1 is rounded out with updates from the International Probiotics Association’s many committees on their key initiatives, and a presentation by Stephen Daniells, PhD, Editor-in-Chief of NutraIngredients-USA and Editorial Consultant for Probiota Americas, on his views on the industry – the challenges, opportunities, and innovations to watch.

Along with the engaging and insightful content over the three days, you can also view our Scientific Frontiers posters, pop by the Probiota Pioneers hub and take part in our Wellness Program.
